D’Aniello Institute for Veterans & Military Families at Syracuse University (IVMF)
The IVMF at Syracuse University is higher education’s first interdisciplinary academic institute, singularly focused on advancing the post-service lives of the nation’s military veterans and their families to serve those who have served. Delivering 18 in person and virtual training programs across the U.S. and globally, the IVMF ensures those returning home for their next mission have the tools they need to be successful in their post-service lives.
IVMF’s mission is to empower service members, veterans, and their families through actionable and national impacting research and policy analysis, innovative training programs, and insightful analytics. The D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) at Syracuse University, believes it’s our moral obligation to make opportunity possible. Our training programs, research, and services empower transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses – in fact we’ve impacted over 200,000 to date.
IVMF’s mission is executed through five pillars: Career Training, Community Services, Entrepreneurship, Research, Evaluation & Policy, and Higher Education, leveraging assets of the University.
By focusing across the full spectrum of the post-service social, economic and wellness concerns of our military families, the D’Aniello Institute assists with creating supportive communities and meaningful opportunities for those who have volunteered to serve our country as well as their families.
