Vets4Warriors, based at Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, provides free and confidential peer support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are answered live — usually in under 30 seconds — by trained peers, most of them veterans themselves. Anyone in the military community, including family members and caregivers, can reach out for a listening ear, ongoing follow-up, and connections to mental health, employment, and community resources.
